Marion Aeby, a designer and textile artist based in Brussels, explores public space through immersive installations that merge design and textile art. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from ECAL in Lausanne and a Master’s degree in Textile Design from La Cambre, she specializes in reusing materials, particularly hot air balloon fabrics. Her experience as a design assistant at ECAL has honed her skills in project development and collaborative work. Marion adopts a minimalist approach that preserves the essence of materials while subtly adapting them, prompting reflection on the impact of textiles in transforming communal spaces. Additionally, she is part of the collective «Cuire Ensemble Ici?», which explores wood-fired cooking from various artistic and culinary perspectives, with a particular focus on bread preparation and baking due to her three years of experience as a baker.
